Oooph. That's a tough one. I love my XBox, but I have to give this one to ColecoVision.
![]() Maybe it's because it was my first console. I played the hell out of my friends Atari 2600's and Intellivisions before I finally got it. Life was so much simpler back then Once you got a game you played the hell out of it because you might not get another one for a few months. You appreciated it more.My favorites: Turbo (I had the driving wheel attachment) Donkey Kong Sub Roc Mr. Do (Dig Dug rip off) Gorf |

without a doubt to me, the dreamcast was the most glorious system to bless my house. It was a stepping stone for me to play emulators on the systems, no mod chip required to play backups, loved the controller, brought sport games to new heights....just to bad it was sent down the crapper so quick.

For me it was N64 - 1080 Snowboarding, Rainbow Six, and 007 Goldeneye thieved all my time. Good times. Good times. My Xbox rules now though. More games than I'll ever be able to play.

Don't have a great favorite console, but I always had Sega consoles, so my prefered is the Sega Mega Drive (I'm from Brazil), or Sega Genesis for US, and Mega Drive for Japan and Europe.
I started with an Atari, and the Berzek cartdrige, in 1982 (already beat some games, with 2 years old!), after that, a Sega Master System, a Nintendo 8 Bits (Nintendinho for brazilian people), after him, the great Mega Drive Generation, with, Sega CD revolution, like the true motion games like Night Trap, Tom Cat Alley, or another classic that lives until nowadays, Silpheed, 32X. I'm sure that I never played so many games like in that good times. After de Mega Drive generation, I buy a Saturn, with make a good time too, with some good RPGs, and Sports games. Jumped to a Nintendo 64, that I do not like too much, just a few great games that I liked, Zelda Ocarina of time, Super Mario 64, and 007 Golden Eye. Short time with the N64, jumped to one of the best ever, the Playstation, and I just started playng this with nothing less than Final Fantasy VII (You guys know what happened, love at first site! Hehehehehe), this one bring me a tons of great games, like the Final Fantasy series (I, II, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX), the Resident Evil series, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and all the other excelent games, that I'll not write here, because I think this is already too long, hehehehehe. And for the time, now I have a Playstation 2, another great console, that is in my top 3 consoles, with many incridible games. The next, if my money permits me, will be a Playstation 3. Sorry for the long post, but videogames, is one of my biggest passions and there's no way to express this in few words. Like my girlfriend, and my family, ohh, and soccer are the other passions. Top 3: 1º Sega Mega Drive, Sega CD, 32X, 32X CD. 2º Playstation 3º Playstation 2. * Sorry for the English errors, or bad speeling, but I'm a brazilian guy, that learned the litle english that know, playing all this games in english. Never frequented a English School. See ya Guys. |

I have many memories of playing classics on the Nintendo 16-bit (Mario, Metroid, Ninja Gaiden), Nintendo 64 (Donkey Kong 64, Mario Kart 64, Golden Eye 007), and Sega Saturn (Virtua Fighter, Virtua Cop, Daytona, Nights, and Sega Sports titles). I would have to say my current favorite is PLAYSTATION 2 for it's extensive library of titles. Below is a list of PS2 games I own with my favorites in red.
PS2 GAMES – Rated E (Everyone): 52 Titles ![]() Action: (8) Capcom Classics Collection Crash Twinsanity Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy Mega Man X 8 Mega Man X Collection Sega Genesis Collection Shrek the Third Dance: (7) DDR Extreme DDR Extreme 2 DDR Max DDR Max 2: 7th Mix (Japan) DDR Party Mix (Japan) DDR Super Nova DDR Super Nova 2 Flight Simulation: (4) Ace Combat 4 Ace Combat 5 Ace Combat Zero Gradius V Raiden III Puzzle: (4) Guitarooman Katamari Damacy Rez Super Monkey Ball Deluxe Racing: (11) Burnout 3: Takedown Burnout Dominator Cars Crash Nitro Kart Gran Turismo 4 Hot Wheels: Beat That Midnight Racing 3: Dub Edition Remix Need for Speed: Carbon Need for Speed: Underground 2 Ski-Doo Snow X Racing Sonic Riders Tourist Trophy RPG: (1) Kingdom Hearts 2 Sports: (14) Fifa 2004 Fifa Street Hot Shots Tennis Madden NFL 07 Madden NFL 08 MLB 07: The Show NBA Live 07 NBA Street: Volume 3 NHL 07 Sega Sports Tennis Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 Top Spin Winning Eleven International Soccer 8 Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 PS2 GAMES – Rated T (Teen) – M (Mature): 41 Titles ![]() Action/Adventure: (19) Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Bully Cold Fear God of War Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition God of War 2 King Kong Marvel Ultimate Alliance Mercenaries Metal Slug Anthology Okami Omnishua 3: Demon Siege Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones Prince of Persia: Warrior Within Resident Evil 4 Shadow of the Colossus Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tony Hawk Project 8 Tony Hawk Pro Skater: Underground Twisted Metal Black Fighting/Boxing: (6) Def Jam: Fight for NY Final Fight: Round 2 Final Fight: Round 3 Soul Calibur III Tekken 5 Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution First Person Shooter: (6) Call of Duty 3 Conflict Vietnam Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorrow RPG: (8) Dark Cloud 2 Dot Hack Volume 2: Reminisce Dragon Quest VIII Final Fantasy X Final Fantasy XII Persona 3 Rogue Galaxy Wild Arms 5 I have considered getting the latest generation consoles (PS3 & XBOX 360). I have a 1080p TV which I would really like to put to use, but there are just not enough cool games to really justify getting either system. With that being said, there are a few titles which make it tempting (Some are out and others are coming soon): XBOX360: Halo 3, Ace Combat 6, and Virtua Fighter 5. PLAYSTATION 3: MGS4, Final Fantasy XIII, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. ![]() Last edited by smoka : 10-07-2007 at 09:23 AM. |
