Yes, i was about to ask the same thing about the scanner... And i also noticed the recent "promotion"... not only for just a moderator, but a "SUPER" moderator!
i hope he doesn't get too cocky...'kidding'... ![]() |

well to answer the questions, yes i did just get 'promoted' as you say. i'm more than happy to help out this site, and since i'm here everyday, it seems like it's all going to work out. my previous scanner was one of those combo printer deals, where now it's a complete stand alone scanner, which seems to do a lot better job. to answer your question, it's a cannon. (do you really want the rest of the specs?)

Wow, what a coincidence. I also had the combo printer deal for YEARS 'til I recently bought a standalone Canon scanner. Hmmm. That's freaky. Well, your scanning looks great so was wondering if you set it at certain setting.

Yes I have used cannon's since my last epson for about 9-10 years.
I bought a lide last was pricy but the leds apparantly dont effect the cd's (damage wise) when they scan them. ![]() Apparantly bulb scanners wreck cd's ie by blanking the dye when you scan them. ![]() |
