well to be honest, this cover was scanned from the 'australian' release of the game... but like many other 'australian' releases, it had the OFLC rating stickered over the plastic case with the sleeve left in tact. basically, this cover is used for a number of regions (if you check the back) - the UK being the main one as it features the pegi rating system, not to mention the union jack...

Australian? Actually, I'm even more confused now - as Australia isn't in Europe - and Australian games have the flash on the back cover (in a mucky brown colour) - see http://www.teambadattitude.co.uk/art...Australia).jpg to check.
Oh, and the code ends in AUS not EUR. *confused* Last edited by Raffles : 05-17-2008 at 04:29 AM. |

i'm actually confused as to what your issue is here... this is what the australian cover for the game looks like.
however, it was not labelled as such because the OFLC (aussie classification system) logos are not present. instead, they were stickers placed over the plastic case to cover the PEGI logos. i don't buy the 'spain flash' theory as i have a number of games sourced from the UK with the exact same 'pink flash'. either way - the cover is european but as is the case with several other releases, the game/cover is identical (since both europe and australia are pal coded) in both regions. if it is such an issue i can remove the cover, but i do believe over 100 people have found a use for it so far ![]() |

Whoah! Slow down fella!
I don't have an 'issue' as such. I merely said that I find it strange that this cover doesn't follow the 'standard' for the colour coding or naming convention. You may well have UK 'sourced' covers that have a pink flash on them - but every UK cover I see (I am in the UK btw) either scanned on a site - or in the supermarket (mall) have a green flash on - and the product code ends in -UKV (have a quick look at my site to see what I mean). If you tell me that this cover is your own scan of the Australian release then I believe you (why wouldn't I?). Sorry if you mis-understood me - there's no malice intended here - I was just curious about the cover. Nothing more than that. cheers Raffles |
