Grand Theft Cover

There's this site going around: ****://***.thecoverproject.***, that steals the covers from here, and then puts them there as uploaded by someone else.

Feel like doing anything about it?

Hold the boat there buddy. As the owner of The Cover Project I take great offense to the fact that you act like the ownership of the site, which consists of only me, is "stealing" covers that are publicly available on the internet. I know for a fact that our covers, as in covers either created by members of my site or myself, end up on sites all over the internet including this one. Many times we receive zero credit for this. There is virtually nothing to be done about this so it is wasted breathe trying to stop it.

Most of the high profile covers that I scan are put up on this site by me as well as posted to my own site. This is a community effort to make high quality artwork available to everyone and you are acting like its some grade school pissing contest.

I do instruct our admins to attempt to properly cite covers that are uploaded to us, but just like CG has no control over the source of the covers posted here, we have to take the end users word for where the covers originated.

So get off your high horse and use all this effort to contribute covers instead of being a dick.

Sorry buddy, I'm friends with SBGamesCone....and a supporter of several sites, which I have given permission to go ahead and use my covers.

If you wanted a list of all sites that take covers from other sites and post them...you'd end up with a giant spiderweb buddy.
